A Portal Beneath the Ancient Stone
X-Demon takes place around a mysterious altar where ancestral statues protect the world from invasion. We wanted it to feel like some dark ritual gone wrong - cracked stones, these portals that pulse with this sickly light, things moving in the shadows, and when the supernatural stuff kicks in? It's wild.
The mood is not bright or playful.
It is intense, mysterious,
and heroic.
Stand Against the Underworld
The player’s role is clear: resist the demon dimension and push back the forces crossing through the portal.
The game should feel like a fight for control. Special symbols appear above the main area, changing dangerous enemy symbols into powerful Wild symbols and shifting the rhythm of the round.
Timing's everything - you need nerves of steel to know when to strike. And man, when those visuals hit, they really hit.
Wild Attack
Wild Attack symbols appear only on the top row, outside the main line area.
When a Wild Attack symbol appears directly above a Demon symbol, the Demon transforms into a Wild symbol. After this transformation, combinations are formed.

During this phase, each Demon has a collection counter. When Wild Attack appears above a Demon, that Demon transforms
and its collection value decreases. Once the Demon collection is completed, that Demon becomes a Golden Wild
for the rest of the phase.
You should actually feel like you're winning the war, y'know? Each demon you flip weakens
their entire force.
